While initially successful, Burberry’s Virtual Try On’s were overly complex and were lacking advantages of a mobile-first approach.
I re-imagined the Burberry Beauty Studio; creating a custom suite of tools, a re-vamped UI system, and content tailored for their various franchises, including interactive Beauty Tutorials, Shade Finders and Virtual Try On’s.

The experience begins with an analysis of facial features and skintone to match the user with the best look and correct shade. Then they can try-on the recommended looks or explore the full library. The experience ends with a moment of education, where the user can participate in makeup tutorials that guide them through a step-by-step look builder. These include instructions for application as well as how-to videos. The user can save & share their look as well as shop the look via the e-commerce integration.
